Ceramic tubular membranes are applied in a cross-flow filtration mode to treat the effluent of different industrial processes removing suspended particulate matter, oils and large biological structures like bacteria. These advanced ceramic membranes are manufactured as tubular multi-channel membranes operating in an inside-out filtration mode.
