Marga and Walter Boll Foundation

The Marga and Walter Boll Foundation is a non-profit, legally independent foundation under private law established in 1995 and based in Kerpen. It was endowed by the founder Marga Boll with company shares in Boll & Kirch Filterbau GmbH. As a traditional company investment foundation, it receives an annual share of the company's distributed profits for use in accordance with the articles of association.
The Boll Foundation focuses on the well-being of people. The foundation relies on professional expertise and good partnerships with the sponsors and representatives of the projects and institutions it supports. Scientific research projects and social projects must be in line with the foundation's purpose in order to receive financial support. The competence of the project partners and sponsors is decisive in the selection process.

Dr. Heinz Lux Foundation

As a long-standing shareholder and managing director, Dr. h.c. Heinz Lux steered and shaped the history of Boll & Kirch Filterbau GmbH and its employees as well as its worldwide subsidiaries and branches for over 50 years. In 2008, Dr. h. c. Heinz Lux fulfilled his long-cherished wish not only to be successful as an entrepreneur, but also to work for the common good - and to do both as sustainably as possible: he established the foundation named after him, Dr. Heinz Lux Foundation, and personally defined its statutes. In line with his vision, support for the selected projects today is needs-oriented, practical and uncomplicated.
